1.2. Membership is personal to the registered member and may not be transferred, sold, shared or used by another person.

1.3. Membership provides access to the Highest Point member space and applicable member benefits, subject to our venue rules and these Terms & Conditions.

1.4. Membership does not guarantee access to the premises at all times. Highest Point reserves the right to temporarily restrict access where necessary for operational, safety, security or legal reasons.

2. Payment

2.1. The membership fee is R100 for a six-month membership.

2.2. Membership will only become active once payment has been successfully received and the membership has been approved.

2.3. Members are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information when registering for membership.

3. Refund Policy

3.1. Membership fees are non-refundable once membership has been activated or access to the membership benefits has been provided, subject to any rights that may apply under South African law.

3.2. No refund will ordinarily be provided where a member:

changes their mind after purchasing membership;

decides not to use their membership;

does not visit the premises;

does not make use of their membership benefits; or

voluntarily cancels their membership during the six-month membership period.

4. Cancellation by the Member

4.1. Members may request cancellation of their membership at any time.

4.2. Cancellation of a membership by the member does not automatically entitle the member to a refund of the membership fee.

4.3. Once a membership has been cancelled, access to membership benefits may be discontinued.

5. Suspension or Termination by Highest Point

5.1. Highest Point reserves the right to suspend or terminate a member's membership and/or refuse access to the premises where a member engages in unacceptable, threatening, disruptive or unlawful conduct.

breaching the rules of the premises; or

any other behaviour that, in Highest Point's reasonable opinion, compromises the safety, security or enjoyment of the space.

5.3. Highest Point reserves the right to cancel a membership immediately, without prior warning, where the circumstances are serious or where immediate action is reasonably necessary for the safety or security of staff, members, visitors or the premises.

5.4. Where appropriate, Highest Point may ask a member to leave the premises immediately.

5.5. Serious or suspected illegal activity may be reported to the relevant authorities.

5.6. A membership terminated due to misconduct, illegal activity or a serious breach of these Terms & Conditions will ordinarily not be eligible for a refund, subject to applicable South African law.

7.2. Where membership is purchased online, confirmation of successful payment and membership activation may be provided electronically using the contact details supplied during registration.

7.3. Where a physical membership card or other membership identification is issued, the member may be required to collect it from the Highest Point premises.

7.4. Membership access will generally be made available once payment has been successfully processed and the membership has been activated.

7.5. Highest Point is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect information supplied by the member, payment-provider delays, technical issues outside our reasonable control, or other circumstances beyond our control.

8. Membership Misuse
